Supporters Rise to the Camp HOPE Challenge
The two-week Camp HOPE Challenge successfully navigated the rapids and concluded with a roaring river of support last Thursday! We are thrilled to report that 36 supporters of Clackamas Women’s Services came through with gifts totaling $4,150, besting the challenge goal of $3,000 by more than 38%.
We launched the Camp HOPE Challenge on March 5th with the goal of sending 10 children to Camp HOPE Oregon this summer. The successful conclusion of the Challenge puts the first official Camp HOPE Oregon pilot project on even stronger footing this summer, providing sufficient funding to cover costs for 14 campers.
We believe that adventurous activities, fun experiences, and the positive social interactions will offer hope to children who have experienced family violence. Thank you for bolstering our efforts to make summer 2015 a season of hope for children in Oregon!
