Wrapping Up the 2016 Holiday Store

For more than 5 years, staff and volunteers from Clackamas Women’s Services have gathered during the week leading up to the holidays to set up displays of gifts ranging from baby blankets to headphones.  The holiday season can be an emotional, challenging for time for the families we serve, some of whom have had to make significant transitions in the past year. At our annual Holiday Store, survivors can pick out gifts and toys for their children at no cost, which helps put a safety net under the season.

Office space for CWS’ Holiday Store was generously donated by Performance Properties, Inc., a property management company based in West Linn, for the second year in a row. Below, you can check out a mini photo tour of the 2016 Holiday Store!

The 2016 Holiday Store supported more than 300 children from 120 families with gifts, toys and basic needs items. This incredible result would not have been possible without the generous businesses and organizations that hosted toy and gift drives and braved icy weather to deliver gifts.
