Mobile Youth Advocacy
We provide advocacy for children and youth who have experienced domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking, child abuse, or sexual exploitation. Our youth advocates can help answer questions survivors may have about how to get help for themselves or a friend. We can meet with youth at school or another place that’s convenient, including in rural areas. Youth advocates can provide support during hospital or court appointments, meetings about well-being, and help connect with other safe adults. Call our 24-hour Crisis and Support line at (888) 654-2288 or message our confidential chat from 9:30am-4pm to connect.
Groups for Youth
Youth groups include healing art workshops like A Window Between Worlds, healthy relationships groups like Love and Life, and sexual assault support groups. Some groups are for youth who’ve directly experienced violence, while others are available to youth who would like to learn healthy relationship skills like communication and boundary setting. Throughout the year, we host groups in schools or community settings to make them easily accessible to youth.
Parenting Support
We provide opportunities for parents and caregivers to connect, learn, and support one another through parenting groups and workshops. For each offering, we provide meals, transportation, and childcare to make it easier for busy parents or caregivers to attend.
Community-Building
Through our Pathways to HOPE program and Camp HOPE America – Oregon we create opportunities for kids and families to build community, make connections with other families who’ve experienced violence and abuse, and heal and have fun. Our community-building events focus on celebrations and family fun.
